When a woman (Rina Hoshino) loses the love of her life, grief consumes her. Her sorrow spirals into deep resentment towards those who still have the love she lost. Time doesn’t heal all wounds, it opens new ones.
Drawn to Japanese folklore and mythology, Dennis M. Livingston studied film in the Media Arts program at Temple University in Tokyo. Now based in Japan, he is making his independent short film debut as writer and director of HANNYA.
