This film portrays the turbulent life of Ayako Koshino the mother of the legendary Koshino sisters and a pioneering figure in Japanese fashion design. With a critical condition, Ayako is rushed to the hospital. As her three daughters gather at her bedside, an angel suddenly appears before her. The angel explains that he must guide Ayako to a place where her fate will be judged—whether she is destined for heaven or hell. As she stands on the boundary between life and death, Ayako begins to look back on the life she has lived in the world of fashion.

With budgets ranging from several hundred thousand yen to 5 million yen, he published a how-to guide on low-budget filmmaking titled "Low-Budget & Unknown: The Ultimate Film Photography Techniques" on April 30, 2020, through Genkosha, using "One Cut of the Dead", in which he participated as a cinematographer, as a case study.
