大阪府出身。カリフォルニア州立大学ノースリッジ校映画制作学科を卒業。日本帰国後、市川海老蔵の映像作品や、カナダ建国150周年記念番組などを演出し、映画監督としても精力的に活動。映画『Motherhood』（19）は国内外で20以上の映画祭に入選し、Action On Film International Film Festivalの最優秀外国作品賞をはじめ、数々の映画祭で賞に輝いた。現在は経済メディア「NewsPicks」の番組を演出している。
