Making of
Born in 1990 in Hyogo Prefecture, residing in Tokyo.
In high school, Yamamoto Atsuko produced a TV drama and won the national championship in the NHK Cup National Broadcasting High School Contest. At Waseda University, she planned and directed a musical. She then continued her creative work while working for a company that organised musicals and events. Currently, she produces films (mainly short films) writes scripts and directs.
Besides portraying characters psychologically, she constantly tries to find ways to capture the equanimity and beauty hidden in everyday life and landscape in her films.
