Matsumoto Ryō, born in Osaka in 1978, graduated from the Faculty of Law at Doshisha University. As a video director, he is responsible for numerous commercials, DVDs and program productions. He is known for his compositional approach to horror films and has directed more than 100 horror productions to date. He is a part of the japanese horror movie universe.
