In the year 203X, Airi, a humanoid recreated in the image of Hayashi’s deceased daughter, meets Shin and begins to fall in love.
Hayashi is unsettled by the differences between Airi and the daughter he lost, while Airi struggles with being seen only as a substitute by her father. When malfunctions begin to occur in Airi, the emotions of the three become entangled.
