The
Making of
Filmmaker and photographer Matsuoka was born in 1975 and apprenticed with photographer Hisashi Shimizu before starting his own business. He participated in the film "LETTERS FROM NIRAI KANAI" (directed by Naoto Kumazawa) as a photographer. Impressed by the world of film, he now produces his own moving images. Currently, he works regularly as a director, screenwriter and cinematographer, producing feature films, music videos and commercials.
