The
Making of
Matsumoto Yurugu comes from Tokyo and started making indie films in the 90s. He then trained as a director and worked as an assistant director under Ishii Takashi, Nakamura Yoshihiro and others. He gained unparalleled experience on set and in 2015 he started directing indie films again, which achieved great success at Japanese and international film festivals. He is currently working as a director on a TV docudrama.
